A Move Of God - Restoration (notes)

A Move Of God - Restoration

Throughout history we have seen great moves of the Spirit of God. Some impacted nations, others large cities and small villages but they were all legitimate moves of God.

Some Revivals

  • Were characterized by signs and wonders, supernatural healings and miracles. Sometimes people would fall down, shake, tremble and quake.
  • But one characteristic was that in every move of God multitudes came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

God Has Promised

  • To restore His church.
  • Acts 3:17-30 talks about the process to restoration.

The Process to Restoration

Repentance means to change our mind and purpose, turn around and return to God. A new mind set, new attitude and view.

Repentance Leads

To refreshing (revival) of recovering from the effects of heat of reviving with fresh air may come from the presence of the Lord.

The Glory Of God is manifested in every move of the Holy Spirit.

And That He May Send to you the Christ who before was designated and appointed for you--even Jesus, whom heaven must receive [and retain] until the time for the complete restoration of all that God spoke by the mouth of all His holy prophets…

The Church Must Be restored to the glory of the first church before Jesus can return. So a great revival will take place before the return of the Lord for His church.

The One Sign of every move of God has been a great harvest.

Acts 1:8 says you will receive power after the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be witnesses unto Me in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and until the ends of the earth.

How To Recognize A move of God:

The people of God are revived, the glory of God is seen in the church, and the harvest comes into the Kingdom.

Can We Change our world?

When God moves it is not even a question. The church will be restored with God’s power and society will be impacted.

Haggai 2

  • God will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
  • God will shake all nations and the desired of all nations will come and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord Almighty. The silver is mine and the gold is mine, declares the Lord Almighty.

Haggai 2

The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house, says, the Lord Almighty. And in this place I will grant peace, declares the Lord Almighty.

As God Sakes

The world, (the economy which affects every institution in society) the glory is demonstrated in the church.
