Last Days Believers - Two Systems

There are two systems in operation today:

1. The Kingdom of God
2. The world

We Are:

• Part of the Kingdom of God and in the world.
• Not of this world.

Genesis 3

• Tells the story of how man gave up his position in the kingdom of authority and dominion.

What Is The World?

• The fallen system (kosmos) which means:

1. The material world. (Matt. 24:21)
2. Humanity. (Matt. 5:14)
3. Human societies, cultures, the world system. (Matt. 16:26)
4. The system of the world that is independent from God. (Gal. 6:14)

In The Beginning we see two systems:

Before the fall everything was perfect.

Man Was

• A perfect man, husband and his wife was perfect. They had a perfect marriage and lived life to the full.
• In a perfect environment and all creation was in harmony with him because he was given dominion over creation.

Then Man Fell

The world came under the dominion of the Devil.

Sickness, hunger, toil, sadness, loneliness, sorrow and death all followed the fall of man.

Proverbs 10:22

The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, and He adds no trouble (painful toil) to it.

The World

Is based on survival.

Painful toil.

Eating by the sweat of our brow.

When We Live

• Under the blessing of God we enjoy life. We have abundant life. We do not lack any good thing. We have dominion over the kingdom of darkness and over the world.

Jesus Dethroned Satan when He died and rose from the dead.

We Can

• Live in this world but not be a part of it.
• Live in this world but under the blessing of God.

We Can

• Live in painful toil or under the umbrella of God’s blessing.
• Be a channel of God’s blessing or a part of painfully working to try to make ends meet.

Galatians 3:13-14

• Says that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.
• He redeemed us in order that the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

How Can We Live

• Under the blessing Jesus has provided for us?

1. Accept Jesus into our lives. (Rom. 10:9-10)
2. Read the contract (The Word of God) and study it, meditate on it, obey it & speak it. (Joshua 1:8)

John 10:10

• Jesus said, the thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

Matthew 6:9-13

• Gives believers the formula for praying in the blessing of the Kingdom everyday in our lives.

How Do I Know

• If I am living under the blessing of the Kingdom of God?

1. God’s favor will be upon me.
2. God’s power will operate in my life.
3. God will anoint me to do the job He has given me to do.
4. The world will see the blessing of the Lord upon my life.

Our eyes! (I John 2)

Our Eyes

• Can be full of darkness or full of light.
• Can be full of lust and greed or of love and compassion for the hurting of the world.

John Talks About The World:

1. The cravings of sinful man.
2. The lusts of his eyes.
3. The boasting of what he has & does.

What Is The World?

The fallen system (kosmos) which means:

1. The material world (Matt. 24:21)
2. Humanity (Matt. 5:14)
3. Human societies, cultures, the world system. (Matt. 16:26)
4. The system of the world that is independent from God. (Gal. 6:14)

We live in a self love world

At a time when people are in love with money.

What are we in love with

• Self?
• Money?
• Power?
• Fame?
• Jesus Christ?

What Is Behind

• Abortion?
• Drug addiction?
• Porn?
• Love of money?

What Are We To Be?

• Salt of the earth.
• Light of the world.

The World

Will not get better if believers are not being the salt and the light.

Satan is Called:

• The Prince of the Power of the Air.
• Satan reigns in the atmosphere since the fall of Adam.

Jesus Dethroned Satan when He died and rose from the dead.

We must fill our hearts with Jesus and we will not lust after the things of the World.

People

• Today are filled with love for self.
• Must see the love for others in our lives.
• Will see Jesus in us and want what we possess.

Why Do We Need Vision?

To know how we will live our lives!

Our Eyes

• Can be full of darkness or full of light.
• Can be full of lust and greed or love and compassion for the hurting of the world.

God Set Up

• A communication system so He could communicate with man from the start.
• It is through His Word that He speaks to man.
• It is through visions and dreams and prophecy that God speaks.

Everyone Needs

• A dream, a vision for his or her life.
• To know we have a purpose and a destiny.

God Always Uses

Events in our lives to accomplish His purpose.

Example of Joseph.

God Uses events in our lives to fulfill His purpose in and through us.

Principle:

“Do not interpretations belong to God?”

Genesis 40:8

God Gives Visions or dreams to unbelievers so He can demonstrate His power and fulfill His purpose.

Daniel was a young man who had the power to interpret visions and dreams.

Peter & Cornelius

Were both given a vision for the purpose of the Gospel being presented to the gentiles.

Visions & Dreams

Are examples of the power of God that always triumphs over evil.

I Timothy 2

Why we are to pray for those in authority?

Why people in power are so important to the Kingdom:

• They can influence a nation.
• They can pass laws that can open avenues for the Gospel to be preached.
• They can shape the future of the world.
• They can do much good in any area.

Last Days Believers - Prophetic Vision

Joel predicted a time in history when God would pour out His Spirit upon humanity.

Vision

• Is one of the manners in which God communicates with His people.
• Is God opening up our minds and hearts to see into the future.

God is pouring out His Spirit upon people everywhere and He is giving visions about the direction He desires His church to go in.

Proverbs 29:18

Where there is no vision, the people perish…

Warning!

Where people do not accept Divine guidance, they run wild.

(New Living Translation)

Without A Vision

• People can not see what God is doing.
• People can not see what we are supposed to be doing.
• People will die spiritually.
• People will stumble all over themselves.

The Vision

• Of Jesus Christ is for all the world to hear the Gospel of the Kingdom.

“And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations and then the end will come.”

(Matthew 24:14)

Keys To Seeing Our Future:

1. Worship
2. Spiritual Warfare
3. Know God is sovereign
4. Trust in God

God Will Do a mighty work among us as we follow the keys found in Ps. 144.

During Past Movements

God restored truths the church lost.

In the last movement we will see a complete restoration of the church to the place of glory and honor.

God Will

• Restore everything we have lost.
• Remove our shame.
• Refresh His people.

Joel 2:18-27

• God will restore us to a place of influence.
• God will take away our stigma of failure.
• God will grant us greatness.

How To Discover & Get Ready For What God Will Do:

1. Repent of all the things we done in our own strength.
2. Allow God to do what He wants to do in us and through us.
3. Pray and obey.

Joel 2:12

• Turn to me with all your heart and with fasting and with weeping and with mourning and rend your heart, and not your garments and turn unto the Lord your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness and repenteth Him of the evil.

Jesus Said

• That He would baptize people with the Holy Spirit and fire. The fire is the glory of the Lord that Moses saw, that Isaiah talked about that Ezekiel saw & Haggai predicted would fill the temple in the last days. Visions & dreams will result from the baptism in fire.

Last Days Believers - A God Dream

Joel predicted a time in history when God would pour out His Spirit upon humanity.

God Is going to give people (young & old, men & women) supernatural dreams and visions before the end of the age.

God Is pouring out His Spirit upon people everywhere and He is giving visions to His children of what is coming.

We Are Going to speak about what it means to be a believer in the last days.

Paul

• Said that perilous times would be characteristic at the time before the end of the church age.

2 Timothy 3:1-9

The Last Days

• Are going to be characterized by an increase of evil and an increase of good. Light always overpowers evil. The power of God is greater than the power of darkness and will always conquer evil.

Acts 2

• I believe God is pouring out His Spirit upon people everywhere.
• How thirsty are you for God?
• How hungry are your for revival?

Are We Are On

The verge of the greatest move of God in church history?

Peter Addressed The Crowd:

These men are not drunk… this is what Joel predicted. In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people.

Acts 2:4-17

Signs Of Revival

• Your sons & daughters will prophecy.
• Your young men shall see visions.
• Your old men shall dream dreams.
• On My servants, both men & women I will pour out My Spirit and they will prophecy.

During Past

Moves of the Spirit, missing limbs have grown, new organs have appeared in tests where they were removed surgically, tumors dissolved, crippled people walk and the dead have been raised back to life.

How To Tell

• If a vision is from God?
• Is it bigger than you?
• You can’t let it go!
• You will be willing to give everything for it.
• It will last forever.
• It meets a need nobody else has met.
• It brings glory to God.

How To Discover Your Dream

• Get alone with God.
• Review your gifts and talents.
• Review your past experiences.
• Decide what’s really important in life.
• Explore different avenues.
• Write your dream down.
