Truths of Revival - God’s Priorities (notes)

Truths of Revival - God’s Priorities

Throughout Church history God reveals truth to the church in order to fulfill the purpose of God in that period of time.

The Church Also looses truths and God has to remind us of what we have lost and has to restore revelation to the church.

Justified By Faith

God is Holy and demands holiness to enter His presence. How do we need to enter His presence? How are we justified?

  1. Justification by faith
  2. By believing in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Heb. 9:1-12
  3. By repenting of our sins Acts 3:19

What Is Important To God?

1. The blood of Jesus

2. Communion with God

3. The resurrection of Jesus

4. Being baptized in the Holy Spirit

5. Telling the world about Jesus Christ

6. The atonement of our sins

7. The return of Jesus Christ for us

These Seven Priorities Were given to my pastor in Idaho by God over a period of a couple of years.

The Feasts of Israel

All point to the seven priorities of God:

1. Passover

2. Unleavened Bread

3. First Fruits

4. Pentecost

5. Trumpets

6. Great Day of Atonement

7. Tabernacles

The Blood of Jesus

The feast of Passover was a type of the death of Christ. His sacrifice, and the blood of Jesus was written before God ever made the earth.

Communion with God

  • The Feast of Unleavened Bread was celebrated beginning the day following the Passover. Leaven is a type of sin, and at the feast they were to eat unleavened bread, representing sin pardoned.
  • Instead of SIN, FAULT AND FAILURE, God sees, through the covering he provided, HOLINESS, BLAMELESSNESS AND PERFECTION.

Those In Rebellion and Idolatry voluntarily move out from under His covering for sin. Those who choose obedience instead of rebellion voluntarily stay under his covering because they choose to love and serve God above self and above the desire to sin. (Heb. 10:14-17 Living Bible)

For by that one offering he made forever perfect in the sight of God those whom he is making holy.

Jesus is Alive

The angel of the Lord said this festival represents the resurrection of Jesus and His life. Not only is he alive, but it is already written down in God’s book that we who are his will follow after him in great resurrection. It is God’s big heart.

The Coming of the Holy Spirit is one of the most important aspect of God’s unfolding plan for the church.

Let’s Ask The Holy Spirit in this hour to be poured out on us, on this city, on this nation and the world.
