Why Do We Need Vision?
To know how we will live our lives!
Our Eyes
- Can be full of darkness or full of light.
- Can be full of lust and greed or love and compassion for the hurting of the world.
God Set Up
- A communication system so He could communicate with man from the start.
- It is through His Word that He speaks to man.
- It is through visions and dreams and prophecy that God speaks.
Everyone Needs
- A dream, a vision for his or her life.
- To know we have a purpose and a destiny.
God Always Uses
Events in our lives to accomplish His purpose.
Example of Joseph.
God Uses events in our lives to fulfill His purpose in and through us.
Principle:
“Do not interpretations belong to God?”
Genesis 40:8
God Gives Visions or dreams to unbelievers so He can demonstrate His power and fulfill His purpose.
Daniel was a young man who had the power to interpret visions and dreams.
Peter & Cornelius
Were both given a vision for the purpose of the Gospel being presented to the gentiles.
Visions & Dreams
Are examples of the power of God that always triumphs over evil.

Why we are to pray for those in authority?
Why people in power are so important to the Kingdom:
- They can influence a nation.
- They can pass laws that can open avenues for the Gospel to be preached.
- They can shape the future of the world.
- They can do much good in any area.
