The Royal Family - A Risen King

The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ is the greatest miracle in history. Because Jesus is the first to have a glorified body. Jesus is the first fruits of the resurrection.

I Cor. 15:20

I Corinthians 15:20-26

20 But the fact is that Christ (the Messiah) has been raised from the dead, and He became the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep [in death]. 21 For since [it was] through a man that death [came into the world, it is] also through a Man that the resurrection of the dead [has come]. 22 For just as [because of their union of nature] in Adam all people die, so also [by virtue of their union of nature] shall all in Christ be made alive. 23 But each in his own rank and turn: Christ (the Messiah) [is] the first fruits, then those who are Christ's [own will be resurrected] at His coming. 24 After that comes the end (the completion), when He delivers over the Kingdom to God the Father after rendering inoperative and abolishing every [other] rule and every authority and power. 25 For [Christ] must be King and reign until He has put all [His] enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy to be subdued and abolished is death.

The Last Enemy of Man is Death

When man was created, he had eternal life and death was no part of his existence. But when man fell, death came upon the human race. God had to become a man in order to redeem man from the fall and from death. Jesus subdued and abolished death when He rose from the dead.

Events After Jesus Died

1. He preaches the Gospel to the captives.
2. He stripped satan of his power over man.
3. He disarmed satan’s army.
4. He led a procession in hell to paradise.
5. He rises from death and goes into the temple in Heaven to present His blood before the Father to complete redemption.
6. He appears to His followers and commissions them to preach the Gospel.
7. He ascends to the Father and promises to return as He ascended.

The Resurrection

• Is the greatest miracle because it now gives every believer the power that Jesus had over the works of darkness.
• Gives us access to God personally.
• Means to revive or make alive again.

Resurrection

• Is something we all need from time to time, especially in our walk with God. We loose the fire, the passion for God, we become complacent and we need reviving.
• Means revival. Churches die and need to be revived.

Matthew 28:1-10

1-4 After the Sabbath, as the first light of the new week dawned, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to keep vigil at the tomb. Suddenly the earth reeled and rocked under their feet as God's angel came down from Heaven, came right up to where they were standing. He rolled back the stone and then sat on it. Shafts of lightning blazed from him. His garments shimmered snow-white. The guards at the tomb were scared to death. They were so frightened, they couldn't move. 5-6The angel spoke to the women: "There is nothing to fear here. I know you're looking for Jesus, the One they nailed to the cross. He is not here. He was raised, just as He said. Come and look at the place where He was placed. 7"Now, get on your way quickly and tell His disciples, 'He is risen from the dead. He is going on ahead of you to Galilee. You will see Him there.' That's the message." 8-10 The women, deep in wonder and full of joy, lost no time in leaving the tomb. They ran to tell the disciples. Then Jesus met them, stopping them in their tracks. "Good morning!" He said. They fell to their knees, embraced His feet, and worshiped Him. Jesus said, "You're holding on to me for dear life! Don't be frightened like that. Go tell My brothers that they are to go to Galilee, and that I'll meet them there."

35 So they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their garments over it for Him to ride on. 36 As He rode along, the crowds spread out their garments on the road ahead of Him. 37 When He reached the place where the road started down the Mount of Olives, all of His followers began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen. 38 “Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in Heaven, and glory in highest Heaven!” 39 But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, “Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!” 40 He replied, “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!” 41 But as He came closer to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead, He began to weep. 42 How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. Visitations Come in a series of breakthroughs in a geographical area. Sometimes it seems as if a move of God just breaks out but that is usually not the case.

We Have Seen Breakthroughs recently so how do we prepare for the next breakthrough?

1. Prepare our hearts.
2. Tune our hearts to the Holy Spirit.
3. Keep our minds open to whatever God wants to do.
4. Stay in the Word.

Every Visitation

• Is different than the last one. The last one will include elements of all the past revivals.
• The main trait of the last visitation before the end of the age will be the greatest harvest.
• God restores a truth that the church has lost.

The Church Doesn’t always understand a visitation of God. Some in the church completely missed past revivals just like the Jews who missed the greatest visitation. What hurts the heart of Jesus is when leaders miss the move of God.

Even When Jesus Is riding into Jerusalem in the midst of the praises, the complaints of the Pharisees He weeps over the city because they missed the greatest visitation in history.

How We Welcome A Divine Visitation:

1. Remain flexible.
2. Stay hungry for God.
3. Overlook shortcomings.

I Peter 1:1-7

I, Peter, am an apostle on assignment by Jesus, the Messiah, writing to exiles scattered to the four winds. Not one is missing, not one forgotten. God the Father has His eye on each of you, and has determined by the work of the Spirit to keep you obedient through the sacrifice of Jesus. May everything good from God be yours! What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have Him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we've been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in Heaven and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you'll have it all life healed and whole. I know how great this makes you feel, even though you have to put up with every kind of aggravation in the meantime. Pure gold put in the fire comes out of it proved pure; genuine faith put through this suffering comes out proved genuine. When Jesus wraps this all up, it's your faith, not your gold, that God will have on display as evidence of his victory.

Everyone Who Knows God Will have their faith tested.

Why?

So that we can have a pure faith in God. Not contaminated by anything on earth.

Our Faith Is Like Gold

• It is worth much. The world puts a high value on gold. Without faith we can not please God.
• Since ancient times, gold has been used as a means of exchange. Today it is still used as a means of exchange because it holds its value and sometimes it increases in value.

Just Like Gold

• Goes through fire so it can be purified so will our faith be tested so it can be pure.
• But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Hebrews 11:6

Hebrews 11:5-6

By an act of faith, Enoch skipped death completely. "They looked all over and couldn't find him because God had taken him." We know on the basis of reliable testimony that before he was taken "he pleased God." It's impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that He exists and that He cares enough to respond to those who seek Him.

Why Do We Need Pure Faith?

1. To please God.
2. To be able to approach God.
3. To know that God is.
4. To know that God exists.
5. To know that God cares enough to respond to those who seek Him.

The Pure Purpose

• For faith is for our relationship with God. Faith is for our trip to Heaven.
• Pure faith will bring Heaven down to earth for those who have it.
• Our most important role in life is to be a lover of God and to love each other. That is the purest type of faith. To get to that place in life our faith will be tested as gold is tested in the fire.

My Faith Has Been Tested in The Fire

Through all this I have learned that faith is for the following reasons:

1. Faith is to please God.
2. Faith for the purpose of approaching God.
3. Faith is to know that God is.
4. Faith is to know that God cares enough to respond to those who seek Him.

Hebrews 11:1-2

• The enemy has perverted faith. Yes by faith we know that God created the world. What we see was created by what we don’t see, faith. But look at the way the Message Bible puts it:
• “Faith is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see.”
• Yes by faith we are saved, by faith we are healed, by faith miracles happen but pure faith is for my relationship with God.

The Reason For Faith

• Satan has perverted faith in the church and we have allowed him to steal the real purpose for faith but in the revival that is sweeping the earth we are seeing a purification of faith in the church.
• I am encouraged that in other parts of the world and in some places in our nation God is raising up an army of believers who’s faith is pure as gold. Pure faith goes through a process of purification in a person’s life and also in the church.

Philippians 3:8

8 Yes, furthermore, I count everything as loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]. For His sake I have lost everything and consider it all to be mere rubbish (refuse, dregs), in order that I may win (gain) Christ (the Anointed One). 9 And that I may [actually] be found and known as in Him, not having any [self-achieved] righteousness that can be called my own, based on my obedience to the Law's demands (ritualistic uprightness and supposed right standing with God thus acquired), but possessing that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ (the Anointed One), the [truly] right standing with God, which comes from God by [saving] faith.

God Is Looking For true worshippers who will worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth.

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

John 4:23

We Are A Chosen People

9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

I Peter 2:1-10

Before We Can

• Function as a Kingdom of worshippers we must lay aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking.
• The way we grow and overcome these carnal traits is to desire the pure milk of the Word which causes us to grow spiritually.
• The church is the house of God on earth, the stones are the people of God. The holy priesthood that offers spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God is the church.

1 Peter 2:1-6

As The Temple of God On the earth we create the atmosphere of Heaven on earth when we worship God in Spirit and in Truth. This is when the glory of God visits the earth and miracles happen, people come from all over, people are saved and revival sweeps the area.

There Are Testimonies of people who have gone to Heaven and returned to talk about the sights and sounds of Heaven.

• Some said that it sounds as if there is a built in sound system and music is everywhere.
• Some said that it sounds like the flutter of angel wings. Others say that Heaven sounds like many songs wrapped into one clear beautiful song.
• Some say they heard voices higher than any pitch anyone on earth could sing and lower than anyone on earth.
• Some saw instruments like the ones on earth and instruments unlike any on earth.
• Heaven is filled with the most beautiful worship music they have ever heard on earth.
• There are angels who worship God day and night, though in Heaven there is no time.

Some Say That

The cherub angel is the chief worship angel. Lucifer was an anointed cherub that covers. He was the chief worship angel in Heaven, he was the anointed cherub. The Ark of the Covenant had two cherubs on each side of the mercy seat. It is thought that there are two cherubs that protect the very throne of God.

Ezekiel 28:14-18 (Amplified Bible)

14 You were the anointed cherub that covers with overshadowing [wings], and I set you so. You were upon the holy mountain of God; you walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire [like the paved work of gleaming sapphire stone upon which the God of Israel walked on Mount Sinai]. 15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created until iniquity and guilt were found in you.16 Through the abundance of your commerce you were filled with lawlessness and violence, and you sinned; therefore I cast you out as a profane thing from the mountain of God and the guardian cherub drove you out from the midst of the stones of fire. 17 Your heart was proud and lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I lay you before kings, that they might gaze at you.18 You have profaned your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities and the enormity of your guilt, by the unrighteousness of your trade. Therefore I have brought forth a fire from your midst; it has consumed you, and I have reduced you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who looked at you.

2 Samuel 6:1-2

1-2 David mustered the pick of the troops of Israel thirty divisions of them. Together with his soldiers, David headed for Baalah to recover the Chest of God, which was called by the Name God-of-the-Angel-Armies, who was enthroned over the pair of angels on the Chest.

Application

God is known as the commander of the armies of Heaven. Satan is called the prince of the power of the air. He was once the anointed cherub. He was anointed to guard the throne of God and to lead the worship of Heaven.

Let’s Look At The whole scene of Heaven. It is an amazing place, full of joy, peace, light, worship and praise. Our life should be the same, our church should be the same as Heaven. Satan has taken music (which was created to worship God) and perverted it. It is used to create an atmosphere of lust, greed and perversion.

My Dream For Our Worship:

Is a place where Heaven comes down. A place where we enter the Holy of Holies and embrace the Lord.

To be a kingdom of priests (kings) who worship the Father in Spirit & in Truth.
